Our story

A Northwest
point of view.

What began with one West Seattle investment became a pursuit of homes shaped by place, material and the lives unfolding within them.

ZEN Development has created contemporary homes across Greater Seattle since 2011. We’re drawn to the exceptional in the everyday—extraordinary sites, natural materials and the people who make a house a home.

Different places.
A more thoughtful tomorrow.

Inspired
by place.
Guided
by people.

Natural settings.
Meaningful lives.

The things
that guide us.
Today and
tomorrow.

Our principles

Place

We build with a deep respect for the land—its light, views, topography and character. Place isn’t a backdrop. It’s the starting point.

People

Homes are for real lives. We design and build with the people who live in them in mind—how they live today and what they hope for tomorrow.

Possibilities

Great homes create opportunity—for deeper connection, a slower pace, a richer everyday. We build to unlock what’s possible in each place and in the people who call it home.

Homes
that belong.

Thoughtful homes for a changing tomorrow—built in harmony with the land and the lives within it.
